Be Patient Gentle Readers

It hasn't rained or snowed here for over a month. Temps have been above normal. Great Riding Weather!

Then as soon as my driving restriction expired, you guessed it, the weather turns to crap. What's more, it looks like it will continue to be crap until next week.

We had rain and snow flurries today. It's supposed to be colder than normal for a few days. Therefore the end of the driving restriction has admittedly, turned out to be anti climactic.

Just know that:

Max is ready to go!

I am certainly ready to go!

I have waited a year for this!

I can be a little more patient!

Can you, the gentle reader, be patient as well?

I guarantee that unbelievable, exciting, astronomical, sexy(?), stupendous, and stunning motorcycle and scooter content will spew forth (yes, spew) from this web log in the days, weeks, months and years to come. Or my name isn't Jimbo.

To keep you occupied, here's a picture of Max's mirror.

  1. You are such a tease! Go ahead, lead us on then leave us hang. :)

  2. Wow, what a buildup....get them snow tires on that ride and get out there!

It's been TWO whole days, hasn't the snow melted yet ?

you look like you've lost some weight, wished I could do that, but not your way

  4. Bobskoot! Chill Out Dude!
We had 2 inches this morning. Wednesday and Thursday look like possibilities. We'll see!

  5. Dear Jimbo:

Congratulations on feeling better and getting through your driving restriction without cheating. (The lie sticks to my fingertips as I type.) Screwing sliding around on frozen pavement. (Read Steve Williams's excellent dodge on the same subject in "Scooter In The Sticks."

While the urge to ride must be maddening, why not wait for that first really warm day, when the temps are cracking 55ยบ and you won't care if you decide to pull over for an hour by a stream or an open field, with a nice hot cup of coffee from the Thermos.

Looking forward to you next ride report.

    Fondest regards,
